If you are having trouble viewing the Logon Window or your browser continually locks up while submitting your payroll report it is likely there is a conflict with the version of Java running on your machine.  Please follow the instructions below to resolve this conflict.

Close all of your Internet Explorer windows.  Once all of the Internet Explorer windows have been closed, you will then need to modify your Java Control Panel settings.

Left click on the start button and select Control Panel.  Depending on the computer, you may need to select Settings and then Control Panel.  If the Control Panel window appears and is in the Category View (notice “Pick a category”), you will need to click on the Switch to Classic View link on the top left hand portion of the screen.

Once in the Classic View, locate and double click the Java icon.

When the Java Control Panel window appears, click on the Java tab at the top of the window.  Next, click on the View button under the Java Applet Runtime Settings.

NOTE:  Make sure you select the View button under the Java Applet Runtime Settings rather than the Java Application Runtime Settings.

Once the Java Runtime Settings window appears uncheck any of the Enabled checkboxes for Java Runtime versions of 1.6.0_10 or higher.  There may be multiple entries higher than 1.6.0_10 so be sure to uncheck the Enabled checkbox for all JRE versions 1.6.0_10 and higher.

Once the appropriate JRE versions have been disabled, click the OK button to close the Java Runtime Settings window.

It is also a good idea to delete your temporary internet files for Java.  From the Java Control Panel window, select the General tab and click on the Settings button under Temporary Internet Files.

When the Temporary Files Settings window appears, click on the Delete Files button.

You will then see the following window:

Leave both checkboxes checked, and click the OK button.  Close the Temporary Files Settings window by clicking the OK button and then exit the Java Control Panel.
