Member Self-Service Portal
The Montana State Information Technology Services Division (SITSD) has changed the method by which users authenticate to Member Self-Service Portal (MSS). Members will now use Okta rather than ePass to log in. Any member who has used MSS within the last two years and has not changed their email address will have their User ID transferred to Okta and be required to “activate” their account and establish a password. If your email address did not match our records when ePass was transferred to Okta you may have to create a new Okta account and re-register with MSS.
Important: Before you get started
- You must have your Person ID to register for MSS. It can be located on your annual statement or by calling the MPERA Member Call Center Toll Free at 1-877-ASK-PERB (1-877-275-7372) or in Helena at 406-444-3154

- If you have trouble logging into Okta or if you get an error during your registration process, please email MPERAOktaHelp@mt.gov
- After successfully registering if you have trouble logging in again, you may need to clear your browser cache and login to MSS through Okta again
