Defined Benefit Member Account Annual Statements
Your MPERA defined benefit annual statement provides a summary of your account information.
MPERA will mail your annual statement in early August. Annual statements are also posted annually to your online Member Self-Service Portal at that time.
In the event your salary information is incorrect, you will need to contact your employer.
In the event the service or contribution information is incorrect, please make the appropriate changes to the statement with correspondence as to why you feel this is incorrect and mail it back to MPERA for review.
Guaranteed Annual Benefit Adjustment (GABA):
- 3% if you were hired before 07/01/2007
- 1.5% if you were hired between 07/01/2007 and 06/30/2011
- 0% - 1.5% determined annually if you were hired on or after 07/01/2013

Address Updates
Active Members - If you are currently working for a participating employer, please make updates to your address directly through your employer.
Inactive Members - If you are no longer employed by a participating employer, please make updates to your address by using our Change of Address Form for inactive members.

MPERA has created a Benefit Estimator to help you plan for your future retirement. This calculator will give you an estimate of your retirement benefits. If you are within three to four months of retiring, contact MPERA for your official estimate packet.
